Erasmus+ Youth Exchange - Digital Voices
Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Digital Voices"
In June 2026, Can You Association hosted the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Digital Voices" in Sofia, Bulgaria. The project brought together young people from different countries to explore youth participation, digital activism, intercultural dialogue, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital tools for positive social impact.
Throughout the exchange, participants took part in a variety of non-formal educational activities designed to encourage active citizenship and creative self-expression. The programme focused on helping young people understand different forms of participation in society and explore how digital technologies can support civic engagement and awareness-raising initiatives.
During workshops, discussions, simulations, and group work, participants examined topics such as youth participation, digital activism, social media campaigns, digital storytelling, AI-generated content, and responsible use of digital tools. They worked in international teams, shared experiences from their local communities, and exchanged ideas on issues that matter to young people today.
A key part of the project was the practical use of AI and digital tools to create awareness campaigns and creative content. Participants explored how technology can be used to support social causes, communicate messages effectively, and engage wider audiences through digital platforms.
The exchange also provided valuable opportunities for intercultural learning. By living, learning, and working together, participants gained a better understanding of different cultures, perspectives, and experiences, while building new friendships and international connections.
As a result of the project, participants developed their digital, communication, and teamwork skills, increased their awareness of youth participation and digital activism, and created their own digital outputs inspired by the topics explored during the exchange.
The "Digital Voices" project demonstrated how creativity, technology, and international cooperation can help young people become more active and engaged members of their communities.
