Dancing Towards a Healthy Lifestyle


Overview of the project
Start: 1st of January 2020
Duration: 18 months
Goal: The project introduces folk dances to youth and adults as a healthy,
entertaining leisure activity, thus offering them a better alternative to
the sedentary lifestyle.
Enhances intercultural dialogue and peace, reinforces youth
empowerment and promotes ethical sport practices.
Team: 4 organisations from Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania and Slovakia,
which share the same values and beliefs, are working
towards the same goals in order to keep sport values alive and promote them
among the members of society nowadays.

The project helped to promote European folk dances as a great combination of culture and physical activity which contributes to the healthy lifestyle of young people and adults.
• 8 folk dances were collected in an online manual and in a video catalog.
• More than 30 local seminars were held.
