Project Number: 2025-1-BG01-KA154-YOU-000297556
Implementation Period: 30.10.2025 – 29.10.2026
Programme: Erasmus+, KA154-YOU – Youth Participation Activities
Implementing Organisation: Can You Association
Can You Association launches the project “Youth Participation and Development Academy – REACH” (Reflect, Engage, Act, Connect, Harness), implemented under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action KA154-YOU – Youth Participation Activities.
Project Objectives:
One of the main objectives of the project is to reduce inequality between young people from large cities and those from small towns and rural areas by ensuring equal access to quality non-formal education and support for personal and professional development.
The project will support young people aged 14 to 18, mainly from small towns, rural areas, and disadvantaged social backgrounds, by providing them with opportunities to develop key life, social, civic, and digital skills for dealing with challenges such as excessive academic pressure, stress, anxiety, low self-confidence, social isolation, communication difficulties, and limited access to development opportunities outside school.
Activities:
Within the project, two in-person academies will be implemented, with a main focus on personal development, civic engagement, and building confidence among young people.
During the academies, participants will take part in practical trainings, discussions, role-playing activities, simulations, and outdoor learning experiences that will help them develop skills for stress management, emotional regulation, improving self-confidence and self-esteem, better communication, and building healthy relationships. The academies will also create a safe space for connection, sharing, and mutual support among young people facing similar challenges and aspirations.
The topics will be divided into three main modules.
- The first module – “Personal Well-being and Resilience” – will focus on stress management, emotional regulation, building healthy habits, mental health, and improving communication within the family and social environment.
-
The second module – “Effective Planning, Social Skills, and Digital Literacy” – will develop skills related to time management, goal setting, financial planning, critical thinking, media literacy, identifying misinformation, online safety, empathy, and conflict resolution.
- The third module – “Career Development and Future Perspectives” – will introduce participants to different educational and professional opportunities, internships, volunteering, European programmes, and will support the creation of individual development plans.
Special attention will be given to young people with fewer opportunities, including participants from socially vulnerable backgrounds, youth from minority communities, and young people from remote areas with limited access to educational resources.
Through the REACH project, Can You Association continues its mission to support young people in their development by creating real opportunities for learning, connection, participation, and building confidence for the future.
