What is volunteering as part of the European Solidarity Corps?
Volunteering provides an opportunity for young people to get involved in the activities of different organisations and to contribute to the planning and implementation of their projects, initiatives and campaigns. The activities are aimed at addressing societal challenges and seeking solutions to meet the needs of local communities. By participating in voluntary activities, young people gain valuable experiences, skills and competences for their personal, educational, social, civic and professional development, which enhances their employability as well as active citizenship.

CAN YOU and European solidarity corps? 
“Can You” Association has a quality reputation for the implementation of European Solidarity Corps projects. It has a quality lable for implementing volunteering activities & Jobs & Internships activities with number: 2019-1-BG01-ESC52-062218.

Projects are divided into two types:
  • Individual volunteering - from 2 to 12 months
  • Volunteer teams - from 2 weeks to 2 months
Eligibility for participation in European Solidarity Corps projects is between 18 and 30 years

The projects cover the costs of:
  • International transport of the volunteer
  • Accommodation
  • Nutrition
  • Pocket money
  • Insurance
  • Language preparation

The European Solidarity Corps volunteer projects are an international experience with the cause to develop skills, competences, knowledge and attitudes, involving young people in solidarity activities in support of the environment and community in which the project is implemented.
