What is volunteering as part of the European Solidarity Corps?
Volunteering provides an opportunity for young people to get involved in the activities of different organisations and to contribute to the planning and implementation of their projects, initiatives and campaigns. The activities are aimed at addressing societal challenges and seeking solutions to meet the needs of local communities. By participating in voluntary activities, young people gain valuable experiences, skills and competences for their personal, educational, social, civic and professional development, which enhances their employability as well as active citizenship.
